AfriKin Foundation is a 501(c)(3) cultural infrastructure institution headquartered at Maison AfriKin in North Miami, Florida. For eleven years, we have built the systems through which cultural value becomes permanent civic, economic, educational, and diplomatic capacity for artists, communities, and the generations that follow.
Culture creates enormous value. Too little of that value becomes permanent institutional capacity. Your support closes that gap. It funds the discipline of institution building itself: the archives, scholarships, partnerships, and infrastructure that outlast any single exhibition or event.
AfriKin operates on a direct formula: culture creates commerce, commerce strengthens community, and community safeguards culture for generations to come. Every gift advances that sequence.
Every donation supports one or more of AfriKin's five platforms: Maison AfriKin, our permanent North Miami headquarters; the AfriKin Art Fair; African Fashion Week Miami; Taste of AfriKin; and year round Global Africa programming, including artist mentorship, scholarship, and cultural diplomacy initiatives.
Gifts are directed toward permanent assets, not single moments: the AfriKin Scholarship Fund, artist development, archives, and the institutional infrastructure that lets each program return stronger the following year.
AfriKin is where culture creates commerce, commerce strengthens community, and community safeguards culture for generations to come.

AfriKin is in an active capital campaign to raise $300,000 toward the infrastructure behind our four flagship programs: the AfriKin Art Fair, African Fashion Week Miami, Art, Jazz & Champagne, and Taste of AfriKin.
A sponsor supports a single event. A founding partner helps build the institution itself: the governance, archives, and permanent capacity that let this work continue long after any one program concludes. Every gift at this stage of AfriKin's growth carries outsized weight in shaping what the institution becomes.
The Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau has stood as an AfriKin partner for six consecutive years. Tito's Handmade Vodka has been a corporate partner across multiple program cycles. AfriKin holds four civic proclamations from three cities: the City of Miami (2016), the City of Miami Beach (2019), and the City of North Miami, which named an official Alfonso D. Brooks Day in February 2026.
AfriKin received the Arts and Business Council of Miami's 2025 Arts and Social Impact Award and has been featured in The New York Times, AP News, Al Jazeera English, ABC, NBC, WPLG Local 10, and WSVN Deco Drive. Total revenue grew from $183,324 in fiscal year 2022 to $470,011 in fiscal year 2023, filed with our Form 990 and available upon request.
Culture creates commerce, commerce strengthens community, and community safeguards culture for generations to come. Your gift moves that formula forward, whether as a one-time contribution or as a founding partner in AfriKin's next chapter.
