Rebecca Akindunjoye (b. 1997, Ondo State, Nigeria) is a Nigerian visual and embroidery artist from Ondo State whose work combines meticulous craftsmanship with a deep engagement with material and form. A self-taught artist from an early age, she later pursued formal training at Adeyemi College of Education (Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife), earning a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art Education in 2018. Rebecca’s embroidered compositions explore texture, pattern, and narrative, reflecting both personal expression and cultural heritage. She is an active member of the FEAAN Southwest zone and has exhibited in notable national and international exhibitions. Her participation in residencies such as TR Art Residency, Kuta Art Residency, and Reimagining Hope Residency highlights her commitment to collaboration, experimentation, and artistic growth.
