Ray Agbo (b. 1970, Lome, Togo) is a Togolese sculptor based in Ghana, installation, and performance artist whose practice spans more than three decades. A graduate of the College of Art in Kpalimé, Togo (1992), Agbo’s work is characterized by its versatility and engagement with material experimentation and spatial form. Early in his career, he apprenticed under sculptor Kofi Setordji in Ghana, an experience that deeply influenced his approach to conceptual and collaborative art-making. Agbo has exhibited widely in both solo and group contexts across Africa and internationally, including participation in the Dakar Biennale and the World Youth Forum. He is currently an artist-in-residence at the El Anatsui Studio in Takoradi, Ghana.
