Biography

Paul Onobiono (b. 1996, Bikok, Cameroone) is a contemporary Cameroonian artist based in Yaoundé. After completing secondary school in 2014 and earning a degree in Fine Arts in 2017, he fully committed to his artistic practice. Since 2016, he has participated in numerous group exhibitions and creative residencies, contributing to Cameroon’s vibrant contemporary art scene. Onobiono’s work explores themes of identity and memory, combining thoughtful reflection with a distinctive sense of humor. Through his art, he invites viewers to engage with the complexities of human experience while offering a playful and insightful perspective on personal and collective narratives.
