Windhoek • Namibia • Born 1988
Ndako Nghipandulwa (b. 1988, Windhoek, Namibia) is a Namibian visual artist whose multidisciplinary practice includes nail and string art, fabric art, oil and acrylic painting, murals, and mixed media. Combining precision with imagination, his work engages boldly with texture, geometry, and narrative. Originally trained in civil engineering, Ndako applies his technical knowledge of mathematics, geometry, and project management to create structurally and conceptually layered works. His fascination with materials—nails, string, fabric, and everyday objects—transforms them into evocative forms that explore identity, experience, and perception through intricate patterns, tension, and meditative use of color and texture.
