Izac Sissoko (b. 1993, Bamako, Mali) is a Malian-born graphic designer and 3D modeler based in Brooklyn, NY. Navigating English as his fourth language, he discovered art as a way to bridge cultural and linguistic gaps. Earning a B.A. in Fine Arts with a focus on digital art, Izac specializes in intricate visual storytelling that connects diverse audiences. His portrait series Human Lines explores cultural expression, identity, and the stories carried through adornment and presence. Each subject embodies cultural richness, symbolism, or spirit, while jewelry, clothing, and personal style highlight traditions of resistance, storytelling, and pride. The layered linework in each image represents the complexity of the human journey—long lines for success and progression, shorter ones for obstacles—forming a visual language of resilience and connection.
