Ahmed Partey (b. 1990, Accra, Ghana) is a self-taught multidisciplinary artist from Accra, Ghana, working in painting, sculpture, pastel, and immersive digital media. Rooted in Afro-Ancestral Spiritualism, he merges Ga Samai—the visual proverbs of the Ga-Adangbe people—with contemporary forms to explore identity, ancestry, and spirit. His work has been exhibited internationally at The Gund Gallery (USA), Africa House at the World Economic Forum (Davos), Shanghai International Art Fair, NFT Paris, NFT NYC, and locally at Chale Wote and Art After Dark (Trance Ghana). Recently shortlisted for the Canadian Global Awards, Partey will soon exhibit at CICA Museum (South Korea) and join an artist residency with Education Development Projects Trust in Ghana.
