Opening under the guiding theme GRIOT: Urgent Storytelling for Our Times, the 2026 Vernissage launches eight days of curatorial programming that interrogates power, reclaims agency, and imagines new frameworks for a world that too often operates without the voices of those it most affects.

On November 29th, AfriKin opens its doors with an exclusive All-White Affair — a refined evening dedicated to art, culture, and society's most influential voices. This red-carpet gala serves as the prelude to Miami's most anticipated week of art and design, attracting luminaries of the art world, collectors, tastemakers, and cultural leaders from across the globe.
